Conclusion :

Now that the June holidays are coming to the end , I feel that I am going to start the same old cycle again . I wish I can continue this holiday for the rest of my life . I will lose my beauty sleep , I get to wake up at 11am every morning during the holidays . I guess I will have to buck up and start to push myself . On the bright side , I will get to see my friends again . 1 month has passed and I miss them so much ! There will probaly be changes in them too , maybe a haircut or so...
I don't think that I have spent my time wisely , I have hardly even touched my homework . I spend most of my time travelling and didn't have time for it . If only I could turn time back , everything would be better . Even so , I have to take the blame for my ownself . It is my own fault for not spending my time properly and I should take the blame for it .
For the second semester , I hope to get the top 5 in my class . I want to make my parents happy and be proud of me , instead of mocking at me all the time . I will try to study hard and focus in class , for this is the only chance I have left .

Entry 6 : A Tale From My Neighbourhood

I still remember what happened last year , that scene is still clear in my head .
I was on my way home a conjestion on the road caught my eye . There was a big crowd and I pushed my way through it . I saw a girl aged around 16 was standing in the middle of the road . She stood still and her face was blank . There was no expression on it at all . The sight of her sent shivers up my spine .
Beside her , a lady was crying . She was holding onto the girl's hand , and seemed to be persuading her . She cried , ' Stop it ' . However , her words fell on deaf ears . The girl seemed to be ignoring her and just stood there like a stone figure . That lady was probaly her mother . As i went closer , I noticed cuts on the girl's wrist . They were deep and fresh , even some dried blood was there . I immediately turned away . The sight of it made me want to puke !
Since then , I have always thought how scary commiting suicide it . Is that going to be me one day ? No matter how depressed I am , I will not allow myself to do such a thing . Anyway , it must be painful to die .
I have always wondered , what is it like to die ? I guess I will never know the answer to it .

Entry 5 : A Food Review

I have eaten my mum's cooking from young . She always cooks for me when she is at home , as she say it is healthier this way . She cooks many dishes such as chicken , fish , vegetables . Some western food include spaghetti and fish and chips . Although I like my mum's cooking , I prefer fast food .

To me , fast food is delicious ! I love it and eat a lot of it even though i know it is unhealthy . I can't stop myself . I would fill myself with loads of it and only start regretting after I have eaten . My mum's food is the exact opposite , it is usually very blend because of the lack of salt . She insists on me to eat less salty food . I don't really like it , but I have been used to salty food from young . It is so much more tasty !

I guess I am negleting my health this way but I just cannot control myself . After all , there is nothing wrong with eating what you want when you can mantain your weight ;)

Entry 4 : An Interesting Place

During the June holidays , I went to Thailand - Bangkok . To tell the truth , I do not really like the place . Not only is it busy and noisy , but also polluted and hot ! I hardly saw any of the famous Thai smiles and there were some nice temples but with some strict rules for foreigners to access them .

On the good side , there are also some interesting things about Bangkok . Not only is the food there tasteful , they are also inexpensive . There are many shopping centres like MBK ( Mah Boon Krong ) where you can buy electronic goods such as Mini-Disc and CD walkmen . There is a large variety of things to buy there which cost must cheaper than in Singapore . Also , there are many local markets along the street and it is a fun way to kill time . It is also a good way also to find some souvenirs and bargains , from local crafts , to clothes and sarongs .

Overall , I enjoyed my trip there but I would not recommand it to people who are impatient and cannot stand the heat there . It is an unsafe place where many people get kidnapped and cars zoom about the roads with their own pace , not caring one bit about the people around them . You can easily get knocked down when crossing the road , you even have to wait for the cars to pass when you cross the zebra crossing !

Entry 3 : A Movie/TV Review

Movie : Spiderman 3

Introducion :

The movie was amazing and had everything from hot action fights , laughs , serious drama , thrills and romance . There are 3 villians in the movie : Harry Osborne , Sandman and Venom . In the movie , Peter Parker causes trouble with his girlfriend , Mary Jane . Her sadness , love , frustration and anger are clearly expressed .

To add on , Peter's ex-best friend Harry Osborn is trying to kill him and he also has to deal with a rival photographer . Gwen Stacy is also added to the movie and is someone that Peter saved . After Peter has an alien symboite attached to him , he becomes overconfident and starts to neglet the people around him . He was not as close to Mary Jane anymore . Instead , he stuck himself to Gwen Stacy to make her jealous .

Conclusion :

Peter has to fight with the alien symboite trying to take control of him and who he really is . It is a tough decision to make and there are many fights between Harry , Peter , the Sandman and Venom . In the attempt to save Mary Jane in the last fight , Peter faces the battle of his life . The villians unparalleled power and thirst for retribution threatens Peter and everyone he loves . Unfortunately , Harry's life was lost in the end .

Comments :

The movie is amazing and filled with some truly hillarious moments . The special effects are exceptional and the music makes the movie seem even more realiastic . I think the movie is great and i would definately recommand it to the public .

Entry 2 : A Song Review

I have always liked the singer Jesse McCartney , I admire his strong voice and slang . That is why I have him in my blogskin , so I am going to write about two of his songs .

I like the song because it is very meaningful and it writes about how he does not want another pretty face , but the soul of that person . It states how he does not want any girl that just comes and goes , but her .

' You're the one I wanna chase, you're the one I wanna hold ' shows his sincerity to her and that no one will ever take her place . It gives me the impression that he will never give up and wait for her no matter how long it takes .

In the song , the words ' beautiful soul ' are repeated many times . It shows that he thinks of her as beautiful , not just the outside of her but the soul inside too . Every girl wants someone to call her beautiful , and he is doing so by repeating ' I want you and your beautiful soul ' .

This song tells us about the singer thinking it's the end of the world , and her voice wakes him up . It shows how much he means to her . When he sings ' I've been looking for the answer, somewhere , I couldn't see that it was right there ' it tells us that what he has always been looking for was right under his very eyes all along . Many things we want or hope for could also be there with us all along , just that we fail to realise it . It is only when you see clearly , when you start to see what are the things that are really important to you .

The chorus of the song says ' because you make me believe in myself when nobody else could help ' shows how special the person means to the singer . She helped him when nobody else would , everyone wants to have someone like that . ' Because you live girl , my world has twice as many stars in the sky ' Because of her , his world seems to have twice as many stars in the sky . It means that the girl brightens up his life to make anything seem possible .

Entry 1 - A Moment In June

During the June holidays , my family went to Kota Kinabalu ( West Malaysia ) during the 13th - 23rd of June . We stayed with my cousins for the 10 days . Unfortunately , they have to go to school and I am alone every weekday morning . On one of the days , my family went to Manuka island . We took a boat there in the morning and stayed till around 4 . My brother wanted to go fishing really badly , he kept making so much noise . The prices for boat fishing cost around $150SG just for 2-3 hours . Since it was so expensive , we went para-flying instead . It was expensive too , but my parents gave in to us .

The experience was something that i will always remember , it really took the breath out of me . Me and my brother were fastened to a big parashoot and went into the sky . We were soaring above the seas with the boat pulling us along . Every now and then , the parashoot would bring us down into the sea and make us wet . Although it only lasted for 10+ minutes , it was an experience of a lifetime .
